Hey you guys! Welcome back to my first proper blog post in what has been the longest gap ever 🙂 I really, really wanted to talk to you guys about a couple of products that I picked up from Superdrug the other day. It was a completely impulsive splurge on stuff that I probably shouldn’t have bought but kind of got too excited about.. I’m sure you know what I mean if you’re reading a makeup review 😉 however i have never been happier with a random buy!

So down to the reviews, I’m sure you can already tell where this review is heading…

Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser

£7.99

Now this has quickly become one of my all time favourites. I have never really been a fan of any drugstore primers, but this, this does everything it says. It smooths out your skin, makes it last all day and you only need a little bit for it too work so its just incredibly for the price. Seriously. It does have a silicon texture so if you don’t like that I would probably stay away from it. However I really think it’s worth a try, plus Superdrug currently had a 3 for 2 offer on selected Maybelline products soooooooo bargain!

Maybelline Age Rewind Eye Concealer

£7.99

Ah man. I haven’t ever really found a concealer that I have loved. I don’t own any higher end ones and the ones I do use are okay. Just not great. However I love this, I have some issues with the applicator and the idea it will get dirty and induce breakouts however I’m sure I can work around that. Maybe if I dab it on my beauty blender first? But it really works. It covers up my dark circles, I use it on spots and it just has such a great texture that is easily blendable. I picked up the light shade as I’m fairly pale as it is, and it works great! I actually thought it looked a bit to dark but it blends out really nicely without compromising on coverage. Big Thumbs up from me!

Maybelline Superstay24h Setting Spray

£6.99

Now this product seems to have mixed reviews. I love it, I find it sets your makeup and it lasts all day (not so sure about the 24h claim, but they do like to over reach a little). The spray though. Basically, the first time you use it spray it in your room. Because that first spray will come out looking rubbish. You will end up with little white dots on your face. However once you’ve done that just spritz it on your face, I hold it arms length away from me as it’s powerful and your gonna look great! So really, once you’re past the initial spray this is a great, cheap alternative to some of the more higher end setting sprays!

All in all I feel like Maybelline is doing really, really well! I have some of there lipsticks/lip paints to try which I will get back to you guys on soon 🙂 But for now, I hope you found this review helpful. Let me know what you thought of these products if you have tried them and I will speak to you all soon!
